TENNIS DRAFT GAME · FREE

Can you go 90-0?

Ninety-Love is a free tennis draft game. Take one skill from each of seven tennis greats, from Laver to Alcaraz, then play a full season: 15 tournaments, 4 Grand Slams, 90 matches. Win them all for a perfect season.

How to play

  1. Draft. Each round shows 5 random players. Pick one player and one open skill: serve, return, forehand, backhand, net, movement or mental. Sampras's serve, Nadal's forehand, Djokovic's return.
  2. Build one player. After 7 rounds your player has all 7 skills. You get one redraw for new players and one swap to move a drafted player to another skill.
  3. Play the season. Your player plays hard, clay and grass. Each surface rewards different skills, and opponents attack your weakest one, so balance matters.
  4. Share your record. 87-3? A perfect 90-0? Share it and challenge your friends.

The season

The calendar follows the real tour: Australian Open, Rotterdam, Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Roland Garros, Halle, Wimbledon, Canada, Cincinnati, US Open, Basel and the ATP Finals. A loss ends a tournament, except in the ATP Finals round robin, where you can lose once and still reach the semi-finals.

Like on the real tour, the ATP Finals has to be earned. Every run earns ATP race points (2,000 for a Grand Slam title, 1,000 for a Masters, 500 for an ATP 500, fewer the earlier you lose), and you need 4,000 points from the first 14 tournaments to qualify. Miss the cut and the season ends in Basel.

Who's the player? (daily tennis Wordle)

A second daily game: guess the mystery tennis player in 8 tries. After every guess, colored tiles show what matches: green for the same, yellow for close, and arrows when the mystery player's peak or rating is higher or lower. Share your grid without spoilers and come back tomorrow for a new player.

FAQ

What is Ninety-Love?
Ninety-Love is a free tennis draft game you play in your browser. You build one player by taking a single skill from each of seven tennis greats, then simulate a full 90-match season and try to win every match.
Is Ninety-Love like 82-0?
Yes. It is inspired by the basketball draft game 82-0, where you try to go undefeated through a full season. Ninety-Love brings the idea to tennis: 15 tournaments, 4 Grand Slams and 90 matches.
Why 90 matches?
Winning every match of the season's 15 tournaments takes exactly 90 wins: 4 Grand Slams of 7 matches, 7 Masters of 6, 3 ATP 500 events of 5 and the ATP Finals with 5 matches.
Is it free?
Yes. Ninety-Love is free, needs no account and works on phones and computers.
What is the daily challenge?
Every day, everyone gets the same players in each draft round and the same luck in every match. You get one attempt, then you can compare and share your record.
What is memory mode?
Memory mode hides every rating while you draft, so you pick players from your own tennis knowledge. Each rating is revealed once you draft it. Switch it on in free play, before your first pick.
Is there a tennis Wordle in Ninety-Love?
Yes. Who's the player? is a daily guess-the-player game: one mystery tennis player per day, the same for everyone. You get 8 guesses, and each guess shows whether the country, peak years, playing hand, era, overall rating and best skill match the mystery player.
Has anyone gone 90-0 in real life?
No. No player has gone through a full season unbeaten in the Open Era. One of the best records is John McEnroe's 82-3 in 1984.
